Gratitude
Mahalo palena ‘ole
Hawaiʻi is more than my home — it’s my sanctuary and my greatest teacher.
Over the past two decades, these islands have seen me through every season of growth—from building my career, to meeting my husband, to creating a life and family rooted here.
I carry deep gratitude for this ʻāina, for the Kanaka Maoli who continue to steward these lands, and for the spirit of community that makes Hawaiʻi a place like no other. I recognize that living and working here is both a privilege and a responsibility—one I approach with humility, ongoing respect, and a commitment to learning.
“He aliʻi ka ʻāina, he kauwā ke kanaka.”
The land is chief, and the people are its servants.
As Mindful Design Hawaiʻi grows, I’ve made it a priority to give back in ways that honor this home and its people.
I’m starting small, with the intention to grow my contributions over time — supporting local nonprofits focused on:
I remain committed to honoring this place with thoughtfulness, humility, and gratitude as my guiding values.
