Gratitude
Mahalo Palena ʻOle
Hawaiʻi is more than my home — it’s my sanctuary and my greatest teacher.
Over the past two decades, these islands have seen me through every season of growth — from building my career, to meeting my husband, to creating a life and family rooted here.
I carry deep gratitude for this ʻāina, for the Kanaka Maoli who continue to steward these lands, and for the spirit of community that makes Hawaiʻi a place like no other.
I recognize that living and working here is a privilege and a responsibility — one that I approach with humility, ongoing respect, and a commitment to learning.
As Mindful Design Hawaiʻi grows, I’ve made it a priority to give back in ways that honor this home and its people.
I’m starting small, with the intention to grow my contributions over time — supporting local nonprofits focused on:
- ʻĀina restoration and stewardship
- Native Hawaiian cultural preservation
- Community care and well-being for families across the islands
I remain committed to honoring this place with thoughtfulness, humility, and gratitude as my guiding values.
“He aliʻi ka ʻāina, he kauwā ke kanaka.”
The land is chief, and the people are its servants.
